We have travelled with SAGA on several occasions and have always been dealt with courteously by the booking team with tickets arriving promptly.
Perhaps one way to judge a tour company is what response do you get when it all goes wrong!!
We had a problem on our last holiday (ticket written out wrongly causing us to have to arrange & Pay for another flight back to the UK from Hong Kong) but Saga handled our complaint sympathetically and without attempting to "pass the buck", compensated us in full and ALSO sent us a hamper by way of apology along with a detailed letter outlining the causes and actions etc.
Bad Points
In our case a useless Rep in Hong Kong in our opinion, but to be fair the only bad one we have ever encountered with Saga.
From time to time some of the drivers used can be scary and quite dangerous in our experience...
General Comments
We have travelled with Saga to Malaysia, Borneo Koh Samui Bangkok South Africa, & Hong Kong and in general felt the hotels were excellent, Food good and the trips first class.
I recommend Saga regularly on the basis of speak as you find.
