Bad Points

Customer service don't care! They keep on sending blank cheques through the post which have not been requested to entice you to spend!


General Comments

I sent my cheque for payment via first class mail five days before payment was due.
I felt that this was ample time to honour payment and not to incur an interest charge. However I was stunned to see a charge on my account for interest when I accessed my details online.
I phoned Virgin customer services and the response was that I was late in paying, which definitely was not true, unless Royal Mail first class deliveries are 'totally' inadequate. I advised Virgin that I was canceling my card and the service rep said that that was ok - there was absolutely no level of understanding or sympathy!
These people are ruthless and don't deserve any business. With my previous credit card company I always paid in this fashion and I never ever had a problem. Also, they keep on posting me blank cheques which I never ask for to entice me to spend. I believe this is a totally unethical business practice.
