Fairly reliable servers, reasonable cost.
Bad Points
Average performance, poor support, outdated server software.
General Comments
Very average for me until I needed help or had any technical questions, then it started to go downhill. Unhelpful support in my experience: slow response, questions still have not yet been answered in any kind of useful way I feel.
I have been with 1and1 for a few years but I have been wanting to move away for almost as long. I could not recommend them.
