I really liked the character, the story kept me entertained. It was a genius idea on christopher pikes part to make her this ancient indian girl, i loved the story of how she became a vampire, it was not your typical horror and gore. It was original and awEsome.

the hotub scenes have been done before and is a bit too much for a book found in the childrens section.

I have said it before and i will say it again, The Last Vampire was awesome! It was like the series was about some goddess and this was her holy book for all worshipers to read like the bible. The character seemed both ashamed and proud of who she is, the way she speaks you can almost see her in her gorgeous ancient body.
