The Canon G9 Powershot feels like it is strong to handle, good price. Manual should be in book form not on disk, start up book very good, but that said it makes you want to find it's hidden secrets. I was lucky the salesman at John Lewis gave me a quick master class lesson, but still got lots more to find out about this gem.

It was expensive at £20 and a bit tight to use, strap far to small. Used at School play for the first time, took about 10 photos and about 10 minutes of video, excellent results, video, could not believe the results first class, and I held it in the palm of my hand, photos crisp and clear, zoom leaver a little bit figity to use and keep G9 steady, I also think that 4GB memery card is a must, and a stand by battery. It well made and will hold its price.
