Bad long haul flight to Mexico. no entertainment - television broken. Radio station and t.v. air sounds broken. Delay of 45 minutes for baggage to arrive at the conveyor belts.
I recently travelled to Mexico on a long haul flight with Monarch Airlines. I would like to say I was really disappointed with the flight, departing and arriving. This plane was very standard for a long haul flight, with T.V only in the main aisles. I have travelled on long haul with other companies and I had my own T.V, games etc. First of all, myself & partner was seated 10 rows apart and monarch requested £70 for us to sit together, then we only had a T.V in the aisle which was all fuzzy and the headphones connections on our aisle did not work, (no sounds at all). For Nearly 10 hours all I could do was look around the plane to keep my concentration. Also the staff could do was apologize, then I was shocked that we also had to pay for our drinks, as I have travelled on long haul yet again with another company and received our drinks free. To top it all up we had a 45 minutes delay for our baggage to arrive at the conveyor belts. I would just like to say I will never fly with Monarch Airlines ever again and would never recommend them to any one especially if flying Long Haul !!
