Bad Points

Cancelled/Delayed flights. Rude customer service representatives. Disorganization. Flight attendants didn't offer blankets to the whole plane only to passengers in the front of the plane. The passengers in front 1/2 of the plane received MUCH better service.


General Comments

I attempted to travel Air Jamaica from BWI on July 15, 2008 it was the worst experience I have ever had. I will not be flying Air Jamaica again. After being told the plane did not show up and the flight was cancelled we were shuffled from line to line the staff was rude and very unhelpful. After 3 hours we were taken by taxi to National airport to take another flight that went through Miami when we got to Miami we were told that the 2nd leg of our trip was cancelled and we were rebooked to another flight. Once we finally arrived in Jamaica we had NO luggage.. all 7 pieces for our family of 4 were not there. They couldn't give us any information other than have us fill out a form. We were one of about 50 people that had no luggage. Our luggage arrived 2 days later after hundreds of dollars of expenses and 2 full days of loss at the hotel. They were unwilling to credit us additional days at the hotel and they were unwilling to refund our flight costs so we could pay for additional hotel days. We are in the process of filing a claim. The experience was beyond horrendous.
