Good Points

Rooms are spacious and have nice sea views. The Hotel is well kept and rooms are cleaned daily. The drinks buggy on the beaches is great.

Bad Points

On 'man made' beaches. Sea is incredibly salty, visibility is very poor, full of seaweed and very few fish in it, so snorkeling is out. The resort is isolated. No towns or villages nearby and no public transport to jump on experience real Antiguan life. Had to wait for a table quite a few times in the evenings, when service was quite poor due to what looked like a shortage of staff. The food was ok, if a little 'samey'. The entertainment in the evenings isn't great. A bit on the 'cheesey' side, and rotates on a weekly basis, so if you're there for 2 weeks it feels a little like the film 'Groundhog Day'.

General Comments

The level of poverty you see when you do manage to 'breakout' of the resort via a hire car or taxi is quite shocking and leaves you feeling very guilty as you make your way back to your plush hotel.
