General Comments
I do not recommend using Glasses Direct if you are in urgent need of glasses. I ordered my prescription sunglasses, and noted that they would expect to deliver within 14 days but might take up to 28 days. After 14 days I asked where they might be and was told they were at the labs. I eventually cancelled on day 29 - at no point did I receive any contact or reassurance that they were working as quick as they could.
I think it is worth noting that the glasses do not seem that cheap, and if I can go to Vision Express and get a pair of glasses in one hour, how can it possibly take 28 days at Glasses Direct?
Also they still haven't sent my refund yet, two weeks after I cancelled.
Will not be bothering again - off to friendly personal service at local optician.
