Instant heating of cookware saves power.We live on an island , our only source of cooking heat is electric ty brought here by undersea cable. It is costly so we love to save any way we can.
Bad Points
Makes me cook more than ever , so I'm eating more; not less!
I have a new smooth top range so have to watch out for over heating of sauces etc. etc. This is because the new cookwear heats so rapidly, I'm not used to that.
General Comments
Jamie Oliver Cookware from Tefal is the best cookware I've ever used in my 55.6 years of food preparation. I only wish I had started out with it. I love the insulated pot handles , no worries about burning fingers. I really like how easily it cleans up, we have to conserve water here during the hot summer months, so using less water during clean up is a plus.
I notice that potatoes cook rapidly without discoloring. For some reason vegs tend to discolor in our water, but in this cookware they do not. Spuds turned out snowy white in half the cook time.
