Avira Antivirus Review

Good Points
I used it in the past and now again from about 1 year. For a free antivirus I think this is the best you can find. Excellent detection and it is not a RAM and CPU eater.

Bad Points
Does not have POP3 email protection and also a high number of false positive detections.

General Comments
If someone ask me to recommend an free antivirus product, the first on my list would be Avira AntiVir. Excellent antivirus for a beginer user or even a more experienced one. For a beginer it could be like a plug and play product, install it and forget it. It will provide you the security you need.
