Good Points

Lots of power of the line, good balance, huge storage space, fun to ride!

Bad Points

Seat is a little too high for me. I'm 5'5", but if I wear good traction shoes or boots it's better. I wish the seat could be adjustable height.

General Comments

I've had my 05 Yamaha Majesty for 3 months now. It took a lot of getting used to because of the weight and seat height. As with anything else, the more I ride, the easier it is. Now I love my Majesty and look for excuses to ride. I have an awesome sound system on it which makes it all the more fun to ride long distances. I take my little girl with me on short runs and the Majesty feels no different, like she's not even there. She loves it too. I think I may have to buy her one when she's older. I got stuck in the rain for the first time and was worried about how the scooter would handle it. I know when it first starts to rain the roads are very slick. I wondered how well the small tires would grip the road. To my surprise, it didn't slip once. The brakes worked perfect. My Majesty could care less if it was raining or not. That makes me feel confident and love my Majesty even more!

Hi, I am a lady rider as well. Just wondering how you got a sound system hooked up on your Majesty, and what make you've got?

By the way, did you know that the seat can be lowered? I am 5.7', but have the seat at its highest, so I'm not sure if lowering the seat will help you. Just a thought!

Hello. I'm not sure what you mean by what make I have. It's a YP400. As far as how the sound system is...there are two 5" speakers in the "dash", two 6x9's on the floor boards way up in front, and one detachable 10" subwoofer box that is strapped to the rear seat with bungee cords. Under the rear seat, way in back, there is a AM/FM/CD/MP3 with satellite radio and a USB connector for an ipod or anything else. In my case it's a 4G flash drive. In front of that there is a 1000 watt amp for the sub. Under the amp is another battery for the sounds. The battery terminals were run to the top of the amp for charging the scooter. There are two wireless points for the remote...one in the left front storage, that's where the 4G flash drive is too for easy access, and one under the seat. All that took up the storage space back there, so I can only fit my helmet up front. As a result, I had to put a top case on it. I don't mind that because it just adds more reflectors and another brake light. That's more visibility. Ride safe!

Hi, Thanks for the info. I meant the make of your sound system, not your scooter. I read your note and realized that the sound system takes too much room for my liking. I prefer the storage space above anything.
    Have a great ride!
