Good Points
I carried this firearm as my duty weapon for three years, it is an excellent firearm. It has great fixed sights for shooting.
It is extremely easy to clean, if you want something simple.
Basically the .357 is the same caliber as a .38
Just remember that if you are using federal ammo, it has quite a kick and a bang :o)
Bad Points
If you want to carry something light for a duty firearm,
the GP 100 is a bit heavy, and you will start to notice it after awhile.
General Comments
If you are carrying anything for a duty weapon, it's always best to learn and train on that particular firearm. For example; if you always carry a revolver, it will be something that you are used to. If you do not know anything about automatic pistols, do not go switching to automatics (unless you are familiar with them, and practice on them) , for when you are out in the field and if you aren't trained on an automatic, it's going to take you longer to reload and to survive.
