Good Points

Looks Impressive! Sounds Impressive! Partitions and sets up OK.

Bad Points

Loses configuration in a monotonously routine way. Recovering the partitions has been a major pain in my experience.

General Comments

This devices performance is the opposite to my reason for purchase. I wanted a reliable network systems back up device. I got an extremely flaky unreliable but attractive space heater. I would firmly recommend a USB interface for the home user. As a reasonable network attached storage device is just NOT offered here. I personally do not recommend the Netgear SC101.
