Good Points

My wife has had them for a number of years now (4+?) and they have been fantastic. She mainly uses them for watching TV or listening to music while using a noisy steam iron. Also great for the deaf in-laws who want the TV really load - just give them the headphones.

Bad Points

Not really any bad points other than if you are a serious hifi person you will get better elsewhere.

General Comments

Unless you are a really serious hifi person then the Sony MDR-RF815r Wireless headphones are great and have never given us a problem. The foam covers over the ear-pierce have now worn out but thats from a lot of use. I am trying to find where to get new covers rather than needing to buy a new headset.

Replacement sponge ear covers for your MDR-RF815r are available.
I was in the same boat loved the headphones and have had them for more than 5 years with no problem. I just wore out the sponge covers.
    Found replacements on the web.
