Good Points

Staff were very friendly, food was good - lots of choices, spectacular northern landscapes.


Bad Points

Smoking prohibited us from taking in a few areas on the ship. Never could get in to the casino or movie theater because the smoke travelled so much. As well, smoke drifted in to the back sitting area so we had to leave there.


General Comments

Went on the Serenade of the Seas cruise with 4 couples. Everyone got sick the day after we returned. Some of us had rooms on different floors and we live in different parts of Vancouver Island... wonder if anyone else got the same bug (July 5-12 Alaska run)?

All in all, a good trip though. The cabin was comfortable and clean and we appreciated the handwashing stations set up. Next time though, we'd go for a room with a balcony so we could open a window.

Thanks to the hard working staff who really made the trip fun!
