Good Points

Great gun, can't beat it.


Bad Points

I would only say that the 98 custom looks a bit dated next to a tippmann A5, but where i play all day on site with my 98 all i ever see is A5 owners trying to fix there cyclone feed systems! They're poor! The standard barrel is too short and accuracy isn't great, a 14" barrel has to be the first thing to up-grade to.


General Comments

This Tippmann Model 98 Custom is one hell of a good marker! I have owned my 98 for three years and play in local woods and at monthly walk-ons at my nearest paintball site, this gun has never jammed or failed to fire, i have fitted a Tippmann 14" pathfinder barrel and a Tippmann 'E'trigger set on full auto. Make sure you buy one with ACT (Anti Chop Technology) I can soot all day, on average 2700 balls, and have NO ball breaks in the barrel. With the 14 " barrel accuracy and range is very good.The Tippmann 98 now comes with a 2 years warranty too! The 98 is so reliable just take it out of your bag and just shoot all day long, non of this fiddling about rubbish! 'Mr. D'
