Defective equipment, awful customer service
Lets review my first 3 weeks with Direct TV
1) Everytime it rains, hd-dvr loses signal. DON'T BELIEVE WHAT THEY TELL YOU ABOUT LOSING SIGNAL.
2) hd-dvr no longer turns on after 5 DAYS
3) replacement hd-dvr arrives with broken off covers and latches, NO installation instructions, NO shipping instructions, NO shipping labels were sent with the package...just the box.
4) The card inside the box was left unactivated..because someone forgot to de-activate the card from the broken one
5) The installation/shipping instructions and labels were finally "shipped" so we could return their garbage equipment. HOWEVER, they said 5 days and we're going on 2 WEEKS.
6) My first attempt at recording a show failed because it somehow skipped the first 30 minutes
