you can find them-talking about western union locations!-everywhere
if you send an amount exceeding 1000$-they don't have cash to give to the receiver-if they make a mistake -regarding name, pin, location-it is your fault-never theirs- in the end, you can get your money back but you lose the transaction fee!
I had 2 bad experiences with Western Union - sending money from bucharest (I am in vacation here) to New York to my daughter. 1-first experience: a while ago she couldn't get cash to deposit in my bank - I had bills to pay tin the states - parent loans to citibank and other expenses - so my daughter received a check instead of cash - the check was clearead in one week by my bank (in New York) - and my payments were't made in time. 2-second experience: now - I am dealing with-when it was about my daughter's name the agent told me wouldn't be necessary her full name and I gave them the last name and one of her names - I asked several time if my daughter can have problems because of that and I was reassured that one name and the MTCN-are enough - and...surprize! - my daughter called me a few minutes ago - from new york telling me that she cannot get money because the name is incomplete - we both - my daughter and I were born in Romania and we live in united states since 1990 - and since then we faced several problems because we have more than one name - first and middle - how about people from spain or middle east having 5 names or more?do they have to write down all of them? - I am so upset with such stupidity! - I will never use the Western Union again - that's for sure!
