Good Points

Not many, the location is great. Really handy for me as Iive 5 minutes away.


Bad Points

God where do I start. The kit is confusing and sometimes quite dirty. The sauna that was promised 9 MONTHS AGO is only just getting built now. The staff are at best very average. The are one or two that are friendly, but in general there are possibly the worst I'v ever come across for knowledge, the person who's in charge was a surprise, she doesn't talk to you, I thought that she was some young girl that just worked there, no presence whatsoever, never spoken to me or my wife once.


General Comments

Very disapointing. My friend recommended me and he now apologises profusly for getting me to sigh up. The gym has gone down hill recently, lots of classes have been removed and every week there are classes cancelled at the shortest of notice. They than have the cheek to tell you that this is because members have asked for it.

These people do not seem to have the fainest idea how to run a business, I don't know how gyms should work but I'm damn sure it's not meant to be like this.

    I thought I would write in response to the reviews on this site so that you know we here at Attiva Health Clubs do read these reviews and respond positively to your issues.

    I'm Craig Farman, Managing Director of Attiva Health Clubs. We are always grateful for comments both positive and negative from our members in all our clubs so thanks to all who have left us reviews on the site. It is only by having comments from our members that we can improve our service to you.

    I am delighted that 5 out of 7 reviewers here have found our service to be a real help in their lives and am pleased that our approach to helping you feel better about yourself is really paying dividends. Our staff strive to provide a non intimidating, safe and stimulating atmosphere and they will be pleased to see that this is working.

    Turning to Toyotamotor and Juno2 reviews these are obviously not so complimentary about our service and we are sorry that these two members have had a bad experience. We very much value your comments and we will strive improve your experience of the club.

    I would like to invite both Toyotamotor and Juno2 to meet with me and our club manager personally at our Uttoxeter club so that we are able to discuss your concerns and look at how we can improve your experience with us. Obviously you both have the contact details for the club and by your reviews both use it on a regular basis.
