Some rather miserable types in there, working and and shopping, but hey, you get that in Harrods (so I've heard).
Started using my Local Poundstretcher last christmas when I discovered they had really good value xmas lights. Since then my real bargains there have been the 'groovy chick' kids clothing, truly gorgeous dresses for my daughter (age 4) 100% cotton at £4 each, lots of people asked me where they were from. Also I get there scented candles in tins, just 75p each, bali and vanilla are lovely, light them when I'm in the tub. I find a lot of their home wares are really quite good, between them and the woolworth's 'worth it' range you can make a little go a long way.
