The Thomson rep was polite and they served us with chicken and chips for lunch and a ham and cheese baguette for dinner.
Almost 12 hours delay with a letter than that stated 11 hours 46 minutes - most people couldn't then claim on their insurance.
Talk about adding insult to injury.
The Thomson flight from Alicante to Birmingham on 15th July was delayed for nearly 12 hours, resulting in people arriving at Birmingham at one in the morning with no trains or other public transport to get them home.
The passenger were told of a 2 hour delay just before they arrived at Alicante. They could have spent the extra time at the hotel with a coach to take them a little later. The 2 hours soon turned into 12 hours. No joke when you're stuck in an airport for that length of time and you have to go to work the next day.
