General Comments

All in all I am very satisfied with my stay at the Monta Verde and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. It's a great place to stay and relax during the day and a good base to explore from at night. Wouldn't recommend the area for singles, more a couples and families type of resort. A rise in prices has seen a drop in custom to the area. Restaurants seem quite cheap but the bars are probably the same price as back home if not a little more for imported beers.
