Plenty of branches, Easy to check account online and 2 years free banking.
Personal advisors take forever to get back to you, always trying to sell you things you don't need, charge you during free banking and unprofessional as a whole.
We have had our business bank accounts with Natwest for a year now, we have a business current account and a business savings account. The first problem we encountered was that it took over 1 month to open these accounts even though we have an excellent credit score and my wife has had a personal account with them for over 20 years. Once the accounts were open we had to apply for a bank card and wait almost another month to get it, this was down to the personal advisor making mistakes, the advisor we have never answers her calls and it usually takes a good 7 or 8 messages before she returns our calls. We have requested a new advisor but they apparently only have one advisor for each area which in my opinion is very unprofessional. We went with Nat West as they give you 2 years free banking but we were getting bank charges from the word go and it took over 3 months before we got the charges refunded. The only good thing with the Natwest business accounts is that you can check them on line very easy. I have been very disappointed with Nat West business as a whole and will be closing the accounts and taking my business elsewhere as soon as the free banking comes to an end. The other silly thing is that if I wanted a business credit card it would take approx 1 month to be approved, would need another credit check to be carried out and thats just to time consuming, so I got a credit card from another company who is owned by the RBS who also own Natwest and it only took me ten minutes to fill in a form and the card was with me in 9 days. For a high street name such as Nat West to be so poor is just a disgrace, I would not recommend them to anybody, running a business is hard enough without running around after your bank all the time. The other thing with Natwest is that the customer service is great when you want to open an account, but once the account is open the customer service disappears.
