General Comments
I booked our holiday last night on the internet. I did call first to ask a couple of questions and the young lady was helpful and polite even though I called at the time they were about to finish work. I don't know why people are mentioning peak rate numbers, I called on a freephone number and their other numbers are normal landlines (0208 code) so I can't understand what's the problem? Even on the freephone number it tells you how long you'll be waiting in a queue and if you don't want to wait you can hang up and call back and the system will recognize your number and put you back in your place in the queue! Excellent in my opinion!
Of course, I haven't been on the holiday yet, so once September has come around I shall let you know if my tickets arrived ok and if the holiday was ok. I have faith though. So far so good.

on 29th Sep 2008OK, well we're back from our jollies and I can honestly say we had a wonderful time! Direct Line Holidays did us proud! The holiday went without a glitch from start to finish! OK, we had a minor delay (less than an hour) on the return flight, but that's not their fault and it wasn't exactly a hardship!
I would definitely use this company again, I would gladly recommend them to friends and I will be thanking them for a great holiday and excellent service on their part!

Just a quick update. Yesterday our tickets arrived with our itinerary. The holiday isn't until 16th Sept so the tickets arrived almost a month before the departure date, I am very pleased!
So far so good! I can't fault these guys, maybe others were just unlucky, I don't know, but we've had no problems with this company.
