Bar gets a little crowded
Service at Benares Indian Restaurant is first rate, food is out of this world. There are arguments about its "authenticity". These are spurious, as are all arguments about "authenticity". The food is derived from the Indian tradition, and is as good as you would expect Michelin starred food to be, if not better. The sous-sommelier who attended to our needs really made our evening. The service was faultless, you barely noticed it happening, and everything arrived at exactly the right time. Cost a small fortune, and every penny well-spent. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
