Good Points

The 642 UP will tow and corner very well among the best for its size and does not need a large fuel gussling four wheel drive. The ball weight is low under 100KG. The friction pressure clamp works very well I suffer from a heavy foot but speed does not seem to worry it even when braking fast. The interior finish is both well planned and very pleasing on the eye I think from memory there over 40 cupboards.

Bad Points

The Bathroom is small and has for its size too many cupboards. It is not easy to have a shower and when you do it is necessary to have the water pressure turned well down even then everything in the bathroom will be wet. Apart from that after nearly one year use I can only think of two other bad point which cannot be bad. The front locker has Gas bottles so it has to have vents in the floor but the problem with that is if you go off the hard surface on to dirt road the dust is sucked up into the locker. Last but not least the entry door needs a seperate flyscreen.

General Comments

There are a few things that need to be watched when first owning an Adria Adiva. Water leaks in the pipe work because the pressure reduction valve is designed for Europe and not Australia. The van walls have the outer skin in Polister which make it very easy on the Eye and very easy to clean but watch that very hot strong Sun does not cause delamination. It is or could be a problem but the warranty covers it. If it happens it can be clearly seen and felt by pasing the flat of your hand over the area. Do not just leave it as it will only get worse.
