Good Points

Great pool complex. Lake was very small but with nice sandy beach for little ones and bar right by the beach which is handy if you want to chill out which the little ones play.


Bad Points

The smell - was it from the river? We think so. The state of the toilet blocks - disgusting! The tap outside the tent had no drainage so got boggy. There's nowhere to eat off site and the on site restaurant was appalling - service was rude and useless, the wine was undrinkable and the food was very late in arriving and rubbish in standard. The whole experience was so bad, in fact, that we left without finishing our meal.


General Comments

Hated it (apart from the pool complex which was great). You might be okay if you don't stay in a tent (some of the static caravans and chalets looked quite nice) as the tents are near the stinky river and tents don't have toilets, forcing you to use the toilet block which didn't appear to be cleaned every day and needed cleaning at least twice a day!

    I disagree with this review because...I went in July this year and there was only one small part of the site where there was a smell - and the weather was steaming hot - so no excuses there. There was certainly no smell near our pitch, the pool, the shops, the bar, the restaurant or the lakes

    I totally diasgree with the review. I went at the end of July with my family and had an absolutely fantastic week. Weather was fab, staff were very approachable and helpful, the place was spotless. Excellent all round.
