Cheap tickets.
Poor bus arrangements, customer service, no ticket agent to help you with issues at the terminal, customer service closed early so no one was there to assist me when the bus never showed up.
I booked the last Mega Bus for the day going back to NYC and the bus never showed up. When I called customer service, the rep. said a bus might be delayed. I waited and waited, a bus finally shows up almost an hour late only to tell us that he wasn't going back to NYC and that he didn't know anything. The customer service call center was closed by then and there was no rep at the bus terminal so Mega bus had no idea that we were stranded at the bus terminal until we called to complain. I think the company could improve their customer service by placing reps at each bus terminal and extending their hours for customer service in anticipation of customer complaints. Also, I thought it was weird that out of the entire Mega bus company, only one person could give me back my refund. All the reps who picked up my call wasn't able to assist me besides transferring me to the manager. It took me a while to get my refund back, but eventually I got my full refund back plus the additional ticket I had to purchase to go back to NYC that night. At least they were willing to compensate me for the frustration I went through.
