Saturday morning ski schools kept stopping the drag lift to sort out kids.- Surely better to have one lift for schools and one lift for public recreational skiers.
I really enjoyed my trip to Chillfactore. But feel you have to take it for what it is, not a real mountain! but a brilliant place to get a snow fix off season and stop technique getting too rusty.
Friday July 11th 2-3.30 was cool, both lifts open, queued for couple of minutes tops. Plenty of space to ski.
Infact I went back later in the evening for a drink in the bar and it was still quiet on the slopes at approx 9pm
Saturday July 12th 9.00-10.30 even quieter. But only one lift open and ski schools whizzing into the quick instructor and lesson entrance to the lifts.
What was really annoying was the instructors getting huffy if you used this entrance -even if noone else was queueing!
So it felt very silly zig zagging up the post office style queue system to reach the lifts!
I didn't book either session but was prepared to gamble because it was off season and off peak.
