Good Points

Comprehensive but expensive.

General Comments

Having been quoted by Halifax, I decided to shop around.
By typing in "mortgage unemployment insurance" in to Google, I found a calculator that reduced the price dramatically.
Instead of paying over £25 a month I got it for less than £10 a month.
O.K. I'm young, and the insurance is age related, so the younger you are the cheaper it gets, but I worked out you needed to be over 50 yrs old before it starts getting a bit expensive.
My friends have followed suit and have also switched. They tell me they are saving even more (they must have big mortgages!).
