The main disappointment in alton towers for me is the queues. I had to wait a long time and only got to visit little. It doesn't seem to have been updated for a long time.

General Comments

Alton towers in my point of view is a very experiencing life time opportunity. There are many thrill seeking rides even though they are quite old but you can never get bored of them. If I had the chance I wouldn't miss it. Also its very attractive and not to mention popular.

Very pleasing. Fun for thrill seekers and young kids too. Perfect for families.

I cannot understand why does Alton towers, Drayton manor and Thorpe park etc have a schools fortnight just before the summer holidays, what has this got to do with education? My husband went with a mate to Alton towers yesterday which was a Tuesday (still during term time) and said that the park was packed with kids of school age. Surely this is wrong because these kids should be at school until the summer holidays, it is like they are playing truant, I think that the authorities should clamp down on theme parks who promote school weeks outside school holidays by employing PCSO's and my husband told me that 99% of the kids were smoking when the park clearly operates a no smoking policy, surely something should be done to address this matter.
