Non Epson cartridges can be purchased at very low prices from online retailers like ClickInks. These cartridges work just as well as the original equipment cartridges at a significant savings. Does an adequate job copying, printing and scanning but could be better.
Sometimes unit gets a little temperamental with quality but with head cleaning it usually returns to normal operation. Manual cleaning of print heads is sometimes necessary to fix problems.
In general the price of the unit and the ink cartridges makes the CX3200 a good buy for the money as long as you can put up with the occasional problems with quality. I also read that it is a good idea to run the unit once a week to prevent quality and head clogging problems. I have had this unit for about 6 years and believe that I have gotten my moneys worth from it.
