Very well kept complex - very accommodating helpful staff - lovely pool - best all inclusive local drinks.

No bad points just a suggestion that the courtesy bus only went to Albefura and not Vilimara

Our visit was June 2008 for one week and we travelled with four other friends - three couples age between 45 - 55 - all I can say is that we had a fantastic time, after reading the reviews I was a bit disappointed and not looking forward in going - I don't know what people are really looking for in a holiday do they not read the brochure before they book, I did and I liked what I read and I was pleasantly surprised when we got there. Yes the resort is out of the way but why would you want to leave other than visit the old town of Albufeira and the port of Vilamara - the grounds are very clean and well kept and our room was lovely - we more or less made our own entertainment as stayed at the bottom of the complex had our meal a few drinks and a few more, mixed with other guests and had a good laugh - there was plenty entertainment but we never really bothered - the food was much of the same but if you want al a carte pick al a carte hotel we all would certainly go back to Portugal as this was our first time there - you have to go and see for yourself... weather was red hot not a cloud in the sky
