NOTHING.

General Comments
BEEN USING LOREAL PREFERENCE (GOLDEN BLONDE) FOR YEARS AND RECENTLY SWITCHED TO FERIA (CANDLEGLOW) AND LIKE THE COLOR BETTER. YES, IT FADES BUT I FIND IT'S BASICALLY SUN THAT FADES COLOR; NOT WASHING. EVEN COLOR IT FADES TO IS REALLY NICE. I WILL KEEP PURCHASING IT AS LONG AS CVS WHERE I LIVE CARRIES IT. NONE OF THE OTHER STORES, K-MART, W-MART OR WALGREENS IN MY AREA CARRY THIS COLOR.

Any good colorist worth his / her salt will tell you: <br/><br/>The #1 Enemy of Haircolor natural or artificial is WATER.<br/><br/>It is NOT the shampoo (although SOME shampoos accelerate the process) Even just wetting your hair can remove / fade color.<br/><br/>It is WATER that causes the hair to swell and the cuticle (Outer Covering) to open so the dye molecules can escape.<br/><br/>It is WATER that removes the dye molecules from the hair.<br/><br/>It is WATER that carries dissolved OXYGEN, CHLORINE, And other Color Damaging Compounds into the hair.<br/><br/>The # 2 Enemy is sunlight (Ultra Violet Light)
