The Sony MHC-EC55 plays mp3 format cds excellent sound quality remote control ease of use like always with sony products, great bass boost also has line from mp3 or other devices. Cassette player bit like something from 1980's with nasty clunk controls however cassettes aren't used much nowaday's, no rds on tuner. Overall for £100 (approx) machine it's very good
