any discounts received (which are theoretically good) are eaten up by lengthy phone calls to service numbers, because CONTRARY TO LEAFLET INFORMATION there is NO online account management.
The whole system is a complete shambles, the leaflet which arrives with the card mentions account management at topshop.com which is INCORRECT. Service numbers given online under topshopcard.com are INCORRECT, too.
The whole system is a complete mess, the leaflet which arrives with the card is full of errors. The biggest one being that there is no online account management, you have to call expensive service lines, which may or may not work (though they will connect you to some agent, so the phone call will be charged, of course)! I received my card about two weeks after filling out the form to get a 10% discount for a purchase. That 2.50 discount, and more, I spent on their service phone lines trying to pay the balance and get some answers about the confusing payment/statement/credit system. During one of the several conversations I was informed that my first payment had been "due on July 7", even though only got my card today and have not received a statement to this day! The friendly offshore call centre lady graciously waived any late payment fee and I was finally able to pay by credit card. After spending about half an hour on the phone at between 7 and 10p per minute (even the information about phone charges is inconsistent). Just do the maths: it's NOT WORTH IT! Topshop are not doing their brand image any favours with this card and the appalling service. I will cancel it at the earliest opportunity, i.e. as soon as my first payment has gone through.
