It is me again darkside i told you i wouldnt get rid of my g-9700 sansui. I love this receiver it still is killing speakers. I tried klipsch the woofers started on fire because of to much power. I am with cerwin vegas now and what a sound but i still get the dead wall shutdown. I need concert speakers well maybe some day.
I cant give this receiver any bad points. It has been to good to me.
Let me tell you if you can find one working grab it you will love it forever to. If it doesnt work, you can get it fixed. They make junk now and with the g-series sansui you great awesome power and the best looking receivers made. I see my friends go through all there stereo stuff and I just turn mine on and crank roger waters or mattalica or even country and what a sound. I just need bigger badder speakers. I will never hear it turned up. I shut down 400 or 500 watt klipsch and vegas. Well I will wait so many years and i will be back to write another review I have a feeling my sansui will still rock. Good luck with yours.
