Good Points

Recoiless. Metal body. Fits comfortably in the hand. Ambidexterous safety catch. Can use BB's or .177 pettets.

Bad Points

Plascic trigger. Difficult to compress into cocked position. Not powerful.

General Comments

Made by the Spanish company Gamo this is basically a pneumatic BB gun. The magazine is on the underside of the barrel when opened forward, and holds 10 BB's. Standard .177 pellets can also be fired in single shot mode, but these have to be lightweight, as the gun is lacking in power. Basically, when you pull the barrel forward it compresses air in a piston and exposes the magazine or allows a single pellet to be inserted into the barrel. The gun is easy to open but a struggle to close as your'e fighting the compressed air, and unless the palm is held flet can catch the flesh and give a nasty nip. Upon firing however there is no recoil as it operates on the pneumatic principle. However, the gun is seriously lacking in power and has to be cocked for every shot which guarantees to build up wrists. The body is mat black metal which is supported on a plastic carriage. The trigger is also plastic but appears robust enough. This is the only gun iv'e been disappointed with, and if a BB gun is required there are better ones on the market. For what it is it does not need an adjustable rear sight, which can be fiddley to adjust. Relatively quiet on discharge it has a crisp let off point.
