Good value for an adult only weekend, lots of acts to see, great atmosphere. Yacht club has now been fully refurbished and is very nice (had shabby carpets and chairs earlier this year) but price of meals have gone up to pay for it. Pub has also had a major refurb again this is nice, but again meals are expensive.
Expensive drinks. Beer very watery taste. I have booked silver and gold accommodation in the past. Both were very tired looking, stained carpets, smell of smoke,(had to change rooms twice). Some kind person had taken all the fuses out of the appliances, no one checked before we went to the room so nothing worked. Ran out of toilet roll, never got replaced (luckily we had our own).
Butlins is a good value holiday if you prepare well (is take your own alcohol and food). Half board catering / food is adequate as long as you don't mind standing in line at peak times, always hot and plentiful choice.
