Portable, Great Graphics (just check out Resident Evil 4, a GC Exclusive!), A 'Gamers System', MARIO! Lots of game on those little discs! Zelda games! Great price, it is sort of the forgotten system. I know that I bought mine when it was brand new and I have never had an issue with it. My GC has never broken and the only problem I have had is playing Metroid Prime. The game freezes from time to time and always has. I guess it is just my copy because my brother beat Metroid and played the whole game through without any incident.
Bad Points
Memory Cards that aren't very good. Sometimes you'll use a whole memory card for one game (Madden). No CD or DVD capability. Some basic 'kiddie' games that have been the norm for quite some time now with Nintendo. Not many bad points because it is a great system at a great price, especially nowadays!
General Comments
The great forgotten system! It has great graphics, it is very portable (nowhere near the heftiness of the xbox or the ps2 before it was slimmed down.) No other system will allow you to play Mario or Zelda and those are two of the greatest VG franchises ever and continue to be. Super Mario Sunshine might just be the best Mario Game EVER! Resident Evil 4 is one of the greatest games I have ever seen or played. You will play it for 10 hours or more and not even get to the second disc! Lastly I know that you can go to a local VG store (not Gamestop because they don't sell last gen stuff) and get one for 29.00 maybe a little more or a little less. FUN STUFF!
