2006 ZX4 - The 2.0L engine has very surprising power. Driving through the mountains at 70-72 MPH the engine holds speed and gives 30MPG @ 2950 RPM. When using cruise control the car will try to downshift on steep inclines. I drove the Ford Fusion with a 2.2L and wanted more engine and did not want to sacrifice fuel ecnomy. Driving the Focus easily swayed me away from the Fusion. Both cars were extremely good riding vehicles and the Fusion load capacity when I test drove was much heavier as I had 4 adults in the car. Judge for yourself and I believe you will be pleasantly surprised.
Not enough 12V plugs to accommidate all the electronics we travel with.-GPS-Cell phones-computers.
Gas mileage rates on the Ford Focus are higher in the city than stated on the sticker-27MPG. Great room for all passengers. Sound system very good. Needs more 12V plugs- Only 1- but easy to add more yourself. Air conditioning will blow you out if you live int the south as we do. Trunk space excellent. I just haven't found much that tells me I should have bought something else. Price was very good!
