Sounds and image quality are good.
Sometimes doesn't play pre recorded discs, now its started not recognising discs recorded on it.
I wouldn't advise anyone to buy this Sony RDR-VX420 due to the issues mentioned in the bad points. It's nearly been out of the window on a few occasions!
