Fully bonded graphite core. Available in 3, colour coded, grades; soft, medium and hard. Rectangular section pencils. Comfortable. Good value. Made in England.
None.
Rectangular body section on these Rexel Blackedge Carpenters' Pencils means pencil wont roll off even under windy conditions. Adaptable to fit any size ear. Body wood is dense and solid allowing for accurate sharpening. Generous rectangular graphite core can be sharpened to a much stronger, and sharper, chisel edge allowing the pencil to make the finest marks and also to follow a truer line without riding along the wood grain.
I have (not only lost, but also) dropped, or had pencils fall many times only to find they then have a hollow sound when struck lightly; the graphite has broken its bond inside the casing and made the pencil useless. I have yet to see, or hear, this happen with a Blackedge pencil. Reliability and consistency in a tool like this both represent better value and a better job.
Such a, little, great tool that makes a huge difference. I use the medium grade as an all rounder.
Well done Rexel!
