Good Points
Great customer service in both branches and in call centres, quick and easy to use internet banking. I have also found that Lloyds TSB is remarkably quick at clearing cheques and other requests compared to other high street banks, HSBC to note. Lloyds TSB has a great branch network and loads of cashpoints, so even if your not near your local branch there's always another branch nearby (even in small towns and villages).
Bad Points
None, but incentives to open account could be better. Railcard would have been nice like Natwest.
General Comments
Really efficient bank, the account is simple and easy to use, which is what you need when you start university. If you don't go over your credit limit then you have little to worry about in the case of charges. However charges do occur when you go overdrawn etc, but only within the guidelines set by the bank (which is what happens with most banks) - unaccounted for charges have NEVER occurred with me.
Great bank, loyal and plays safe with your money.

My wife got the railcard 2 years ago as part of the offer from Natwest. It actually turned out to be useless for 3 of the 4 days she was in Uni as the railcard is only valid after 10am. So I can assure you, you haven't missed out!
