I agree completely, I think that Toys R Us is a poor example of what a business should represent, especially a toy store. I found their customer service to be unprofessional, and laughable, as well as their policies seem strict and advantageous only to the company. We've recently made a large, expensive purchase at the Dartmouth, NS Canada store, and received an incomplete product. All the contents were not included. When confronted with this issue, they refused to take any responsibility, did not offer a discount, nor were they willing to replace the item that was missing. This was an item advertised in one of their fliers, which I was told, they are not responsible for!
