Good Points
Patterns better than my Benelli Nova especially when shooting 3.5" shells; which I think is because of the overbored barrel. Had my 835 since the first year they came out. Tried the Benelli the past 3 seasons and will be going back to 'old reliable' when duck season returns. Great duck gun.
Bad Points
The piece that retains the shells in the magazine wears too quickly and allows shells to exit the magazine while pumping. That metal piece was poorly designed. Thankfully, Mossberg corrected it on their latest model.
General Comments
Great all around gun. I use it to target shoot as well as hunt dove, turkey, and ducks. I love the way it patterns.
