Good Points

I decided to buy an Oreck on a friend's recommendation. 4 years later it's as good as the day I purchased it and I vacume every day - sometimes twice a day.


Bad Points

Yes it could smell a bit doggy if you have pets but if you change the bag regularly and use the scented cartridges this solves the problem.


General Comments

I'm truly shocked by the negative comments for this Oreck XL cleaner. Sick and tired of Dyson's picking up dog hair for 6 months and then leaving a thatch in a navy blue carpet. Compared to other cleaners it's very lightweight and so takes the backache out of cleaning. Its efficiency means cleaning takes a fraction of the time. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.
