Can be used for very light domestic use.
Replacable parts wear and tear.
The homelite timberman 45 18" has good power, but has too many draw backs to purchase for commercial use. I have two and as has been stated here already, the brake was a problem on both until I completely removed it.
As was also stated the bar and chain and sprocket do not last no time if you are using it for any extensive cutting projects. Just clearing six acres of property I have gone through 3 bards and sprockets, and numerous chains. And yes I resharpen the chains at least 5 to 5 times before using a new one, but they just stretch like crazy. On an 8 inch log about 6 or 7 cuts and the chain is loose again and needs tightening.
