Good Points

The hotel is very clean, comfortable and welcoming. Many staff are multilingual and all were very friendly. The all inclusive is convenient and saves a lot of money. It is a buffet style, whilst I was there (one week) every night there were 2 meat options, slices of roast beef in gravy, chunks of beef in spinach, chicken drumsticks and fish or chicken burgers with veg and potato- wedges, douphinoise or roasters - so nothing weird. There is an array of fresh salad, pasta and puddings.
The rooms are great, clean modern, spacious, massive shower, (if its cold turn hot tap by boiler) A/C is great and the cleaners will come round every day and go the extra mile to please you. I would vote the safety of the hotel as high, I stupidly left many valuables on show and I had no problems. Also there is security at the entrance.
The managers were very professional and caring. There is a taxi service ran by hotel who I recommend using for safety and prevention of being over charged. The pool was a great temperature, and there was always sun loungers available (and free towels to use).
Weather is great. Generally they love the English and majority of people are really friendly. Naama Bay has a hard rock cafe, McDonalds (with chicken Big mac-wow) and TJI fridays, the Camel bar is good and there are many casinos. There is a lot of scope for excursions which I thinks is a must!!
Camel rides are funny, quad biking is interesting, snorkelling is amazing, Cairo is a drag.

Bad Points

The pool bar makes many drinks although note there is no international drinks like Malibu and Baileys - just soft drinks (coke, fanta, sprite, juice) and local gin, vodka, white/dark rum etc. Although there is another bar within the hotel selling such drinks.
The free shuttle to the hotels beach near old market is not up to much, the sand is pretty naff but there are sun loungers and good water. At the airport people will try to take your luggage for you then demand a hefty tip-avoid them.
Every person wants you in there shop to sign guestbook or look at stuff, they are pushy - be firm, polite and don't slow down too much!
Most places charge a service charge an tax so look at price lists in places carefully. Don't be inclined to follow anyone, before you know it you're in a perfume shop, drinking their complimentary drinks and the victim of a sales pitch which seems never ending. There is hidden costs in some excursions, like having to tip the people that lead your camel and there may be stops at random shops where you are encouraged to buy stuff. In the towns you have to pay for toilets.
The camel rides are led largely by children so don't be surprised. Be prepared and if you get ill like I did, be positive, take it in your stride and try not to let it prevent your activities.

General Comments

This holiday was a super bargain from QWERTY travel so I had no expectations, but I was amazed from day one. I would recommend it and I would definitely go back. My holiday was 24th Jun-3rd July.
The temperatures were hot, 38 degrees ish and at evening the temperature did not massively drop (I never wore a jacket once).
Resta Sharm is only a few miles from everything such as Nama bay and mall, old market etc. a taxi to Naama bay is 30LE ( £3 apx) and to airport 185LE ( £18.50 apx). - NOTE you will get pestered by millions of taxis all trying to charge you the earth, have a price based on the hotels taxi prices and don't waver first day from airport to hotel we paid 500LE instead of 150LE because we weren't sure of the local process etc.
If you want something - HAGGLE, it is not rude, it is their culture and of you don't you will get over charged, haggle everything from taxis, drinks, clothes, fags etc.
Average prices- KFC twister meal less than £2, 1litre bottle of fanta from shop £0.60, bottle of water less than £0.50, fake desinger belts from stalls £5, designer handbags about £15.
In general be very polite and you will be treated well, be firm when needed, be scrupulous when haggling - be prepared to walk away, take lots of suncream and you will have an amazing time- We did!
